Graduated from Universidad Panamericana where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Law with the dissertation called: “Migration of assignments to hydrocarbon exploration and extraction contracts.”

He has satisfactorily completed various certification courses taught by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, the Asturias University Center and the Center for Business Law Studies.

Founding partner of Ruiz, Oregón, Liévana & Courtney, SC, specialized in corporate matters. He is an active member and certified lawyer by the National Association of Business Lawyers (ANADE), Querétaro section.

He has extensive experience in Corporate Law, especially in matters of Corporate Governance, foreign investment, hydrocarbons, personal data, as well as mergers and acquisitions.

He started his professional career in the most renowned corporate  law firms in Mexico City, which led him to have extensive experience in transactions related to companies and associations. He has represented commercial and civil companies for several transactions both in the public and private sector.

Finally, he has teamed up with national and global law firms to execute cross-border corporate transactions.
